Abhishek Srivastava is the Communications & Advocacy Specialist, Asia-Pacific, at the Better Than Cash Alliance, a United Nations-based partnership of governments, companies, and international organizations that accelerates the transition from cash to responsible digital payments to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

With over 15 years of experience spanning the private and nonprofit sectors, Abhishek specializes in policy and media advocacy, campaign management, strategic planning and execution, cross-sector coalition building, strategic communications, and business and organizational development.

Abhishek holds an MBA from the International Management Institute, a BA in Economics from Delhi University, and an LLB. His unwavering passion lies in advancing social impact objectives and harnessing the potential of both mainstream and digital media to amplify their influence. He has previously served as a Policy Specialist for UN Women during the India G20 Presidency, authoring publications and blogs on subjects such as early childhood education, gender dynamics, and climate change. Abhishek has received recognition from USAID for his contributions in India and holds a certification in data science.
