Fareeza Ibrahim

Former Global Communications Officer

Fareeza Ibrahim was the former Global Communications Officer at the UN-based Better Than Cash Alliance. Fareeza worked on global communications, supporting colleagues at global, regional and national level across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Before joining the Alliance in 2018, Fareeza was the Communications Manager and Member Relations Manager for the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI). Fareeza also served as the Head of Communications for IDEAS, a leading think tank in Southeast Asia, and was a founding member of Teach For Malaysia. Fareeza holds a Bachelors in Communications from Murdoch University, Western Australia.
