Mia worked on global communications at the Better Than Cash Alliance, collaborating closely with colleagues across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Mia has worked in international development advocacy communications for several years, devising global digital inclusion and human rights campaigns. Prior to joining the Alliance, Mia was Senior Market Engagement Manager for the GSMA’s Digital Equity Initiative, supporting mobile industry stakeholders in accelerating digital solutions for underserved populations in high GDP markets. Mia has also previously held roles as overseeing global marketing and communications for the GSMA’s Mobile Money program, and as Team Lead of Community Management at a full-service content marketing agency in Austin, Texas.
