Tidhar Wald

Former Managing Director, a.i.

Tidhar served as the Managing Director a.i., of the Better Than Cash Alliance. In his position, Tidhar oversaw the global team that works with governments, companies and international organizations to implement their commitments to digitize payments responsibly and build digital economies that are inclusive. Tidhar is a founding team member of the Better Than Cash Alliance and has previously served as Deputy Managing Director and Head of Government Relations and Public Policy.

Prior to his tenure at the Better Than Cash Alliance, Tidhar held positions in political affairs and government relations for over a decade, including at the United Nations, the OECD and Oxfam International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Sorbonne University in Paris and a Master in Public Policy - International and Global Affairs from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
