Diego has over a decade of experience leading digital communications and marketing strategies and working in partnership with governments, global companies, and not-for-profits. Before joining the Better Than Cash Alliance, Diego was a consultant and project leader focused on civic technology for freedom of speech and citizen engagement. He founded and directed Fáctico, a tech startup that launched a popular citizen journalism digital platform with over 70,000 users. He holds a master’s in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, funded by the Chevening Scholarship.
