Gisela Davico-Thaler is the Latin America and the Caribbean Lead and Global Gender Lead for the Better Than Cash Alliance.
For more than 18 years, Gisela Davico has been an advocate for the development of better policies for responsible financial inclusion as strategies to achieve greater social wellbeing, by reaching out to more people and empowering them to fulfill their potential.
Davico has served in a wide variety of environments, ranging from field missions, to International Organizations, Financial Institutions, Governments, Service Providers at the Meso Level, and different Organizations –including the UN, World Bank, Universal Postal Union, Innovations for Poverty Action, Entrepreneurial Finance Lab, and PlaNet Finance, among others.
She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Masters in Latin American Studies from Salamanca University, and pursued studies in photography and documentary filmmaking.
